Imperialism 101- Life Before

Writing Prompt:
We are at the end of week 4 and you have received progress reports in all your classes.
Write a 4 sentence letter to yourself about how you feel about your grade, what you've learned, and how hard you've tried. End by putting a promise to yourself about what you will change in the coming weeks to get you the grade you desrvee.

2. Why were the Natives dancing this?
3. Pretend you were alive and present at Wounded Knee and had to tell the world what had just happened. The sounds, the scents, the emotions, the people, the names, the faces.. BE DESCRIPTIVE!!
Now WRITE a summary description of your choice in either 16 bars, a poem, or a short story SUMMARIZING what happened at Wounded Knee.
